June 12 – Time 9am – 3pm. Please wear clothes and shoe that are able to get wet. Volunteers will be expected to kayak or canoe for both sessions. Lunch will be provide.
Volunteers are needed to assist at practices this summer for the West Michigan Rolin' Whitecaps Wheelchair Softball Team. Practices are from 5:30 - 8:00pm Tuesdays at the Mary Free Bed YMCA
A volunteer is needed for Adaptive Swim Lessons on Mondays from 5-8pm at the Mary Free Bed Therapy Pool. Swim experience is recommended but not needed. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and will be working with children 18 and under and under the supervision from our certified swim instructor.
This two-hour clinic will be held in conjunction with the West Michigan Fencing Academy to introduce the participants to the fast-paced sport of Wheelchair Fencing. This clinic will be led by the instructors at the West Michigan Fencing Academy.
Volunteers are needed for the Future Frenzy Wheelchair Lacrosse. This position is for those who have been asked by the sports coordinator or coach. Series! Practices are Monday evenings from 5:30pm - 6:30pm from June 3rd through July 8th, ending on July 13th for the FrenzyFest tournament.
Volunteers will be assisting participants throughout the class that meets weekly on Fridays from 10am - 11am for 6 weeks (the week of April 26 is skipped). Volunteers must be available for all 6 weeks.
