Event Description
 
The Mary Free Bed Junior Wheelchair Tennis team is for children with physical disabilities with a desire to play tennis. This is for anyone that wants to play at any level ranging from beginner to advanced. Players will work on skills, learn mobility, and hit thousands of tennis balls. Players must be between 7-18 years of age to join! This summer players will practice two times per week. (No practice week of July 6th and week of July 27 for sports camp).

Practices: Mondays and Thursdays, June 8 - August 27 from 5:00pm - 6:30pm

6-7pm

A volunteer is needed for Adaptive Swim Lessons on Tuesdays  from 5-8pm at the Mary Free Bed Therapy Pool. Swim experience is recommended but not needed. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and will be working with children 18 and under and under the supervision from our certified swim instructor.

5:30 - 8 PM

Choose a shift for Mondays June 8 - August 24 from 4:45pm-7pm or Thursdays June 11 - August 27.  The volunteer will be responsible for letting wheelchair and adaptive players in and out of the wheelchair entrance.
