2026 Adaptive Curling Clinic

We are excited to host an upcoming Adaptive Curling Clinic in partnership with the Grand Rapids Curling Club. This introductory, learn-to-curl experience is designed for individuals ages 16 and older with a physical disability who are interested in trying a new and unique sport in a fun, supportive environment. Participants will be guided through the basics of curling, including rules, technique, and gameplay, with a combination of off-ice instruction and on-ice practice.

The clinic is structured to provide a welcoming and engaging experience for all ability levels, with instruction and equipment provided by experienced curling staff and volunteers. In addition to skill development, this clinic serves as an opportunity to build community, increase awareness of adaptive winter sports, and explore future programming opportunities in curling.

We look forward to introducing athletes, families, and supporters to the sport of curling and continuing to expand adaptive sport opportunities in our community.

Schedule of events: 

5pm - Registration

5:30pm - Program introduction (off-ice safety, history, ice prep demonstration)

6pm - On-ice instruction
