Summary

Join us for a dynamic three-practice series designed specifically for adaptive track and field athletes of all skill levels! This series will focus on both racing and throwing events, offering participants the opportunity to explore and develop skills in areas such as wheelchair racing, running, shot put, discus, and more.

Description

Series dates: August 20th, September 17th and October 22nd
Series time: 5:30pm-7pm

Led by experienced coaches from MFB, each session will provide structured instruction, individualized feedback, and skill-building drills tailored to meet each athlete’s abilities and goals. Athletes will learn proper techniques, improve strength and endurance, and gain confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment.

This series is intended for athletes with physical disabilities who are interested in being part of our new and upcoming adaptive track and field team, set to launch in 2027. It’s a great opportunity to get introduced to the sport, connect with coaches, and begin building the foundational skills needed to be part of the team.

Whether you are new to track and field or looking to enhance your competitive skills, this series is a great opportunity to grow, connect with peers, and deepen your understanding of the sport.
