Summary
In partnership with Great Lakes Disc, hosted by Keystone Community Church Mary Free Bed Wheelchair and Adaptive Sports is excited to host a one day Adapted Disc Golf Clinic. Whether you've never thrown a frisbee, or have played before, come learn more about this competitive sport that is growing at a rapid pace!
Description
Participants will receive 2-3 premium plastic discs at no cost to them to keep, and get the chance to play a temporary accessible course. Clinic area will be in a paved parking lot with access to accessible bathrooms and air conditioned building if/when needed.
Clinic Outline
- Basic rules and objectives
- Putting discussion and demo (Push, spin, turbo, forehand)
- Putting practical application
- Driving discussion and demo (Backhand, forehand, rollers)
- Driving practical application
- Practical application by playing a temporary course.
Time allowing, we will also hold a putting competition, and a long distance driving competition with prizes for the winners.
